Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

We collect information you choose to provide and information required to operate Deep Pick.

• Account information, such as your email address, username, profile details, and authentication records.
• Product information, such as saved picks, preferences, support messages, and account activity.
• Billing records from Stripe, such as subscription status, price, currency, and transaction references. Deep Pick does not store full payment-card numbers.
• If you apply for a Creator Pass, the public X post URL and handle, campaign claim status, review reason, and time-bounded access dates. Deep Pick does not store an X password, access token, or copied post body for this process.
• Technical security information needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

2. Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4, delivered through Google Tag Manager, and anonymous PostHog product events load only after you select Accept analytics. Before consent, we keep only eligible events in memory; choosing Necessary only discards them.

• Analytics may include page paths, referrers, browser or device information, approximate geography, and interactions such as comparison completion, signup clicks, and subscription steps.
• Deep Pick does not send your email address or raw account ID in analytics events.
• PostHog person profiles, automatic capture, and session replay are disabled for this launch configuration.
• Advertising storage, ad personalization, and ad-user-data consent remain denied.

3. Cookies and your choice

Necessary cookies support authentication, security, checkout return verification, and your Closed Access or consent choices. The analytics choice lasts up to 180 days. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings in the site footer.

4. How we use information

• Provide accounts, fantasy tools, picks, subscriptions, support, and other requested features.
• Secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain reliable operations.
• Measure and improve the product when analytics consent is granted.
• Process billing, meet legal obligations, and enforce our Terms.
• Review Creator Pass eligibility, prevent duplicate claims, and provide approved time-bounded access.

5. Service providers and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We use service providers only for defined operating purposes, including Supabase for account and application data, Vercel for hosting, Stripe for billing, Google for authentication and consented analytics, and PostHog for consented anonymous product analytics. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect users, Deep Pick, or the public.

6. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain legitimate business and security records, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also reject optional analytics without losing access to necessary site functions.

8. Children

Deep Pick is not intended for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the service changes. We will post the revised policy here and update its effective date.
